 Privilege power and Different

by, Alan Johnson

Quotes:

"privilege is always a problem for people who don't have it and for people who do, because privilege is always in relation to other."... " if people in privileged groups don't include themselves in the solution, the default is to leave it to blacks and women and asians, Latinos, Native Americans, ect and the lower working classes to do it own their own. but these groups can't do it on their own, because they don't have the power to change entrenched systems of privilege by themselves." (Pg10)

These quotes really cough my attention and opened my mind how much we need to work together as a whole, if these group are fighting for their own they already carrying a disadvantage meanwhile if privilege groups would contribute to be part of the solution there would be more awareness,

The first quotes made me realize how privilege has always been there, people refuse to work together to create solutions instead of problems, privilege comes with everything,

"ignoring privilege keeps us in a state of unreality, by promoting the illusion that difference by itself is the problem,"

This quotes connects to reality because we live in a society were ignoring the problem and living in an unreal is a better solution then actually finding a solution and working as a whole,

Do You Have a Solution Looking for Problem?
